Weekend Trip to Victoria, BC

In-between business travels, I try to squeeze in some personal trips where I could to relax and hang out with friends or family.  A trip to Victoria was a much needed break time from the hectic travel schedule and a challenging project in Dallas, TX (which I had to back to after Victoria 😦 )

Anyways, I flew into Victoria, BC for a long weekend.  We toured Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, and also visited Salt Spring Island where we explored the world of farm animals and vegetables.  There were so many different types of chicken, roasters, ducks, cows, sheeps..  Who can judge the best garlic of the year?  Well, the people of Salt Spring Island Fall Fair could!   I studied and studied them but did not even know where to start or understand why the first place chicken, garlic, carrot, duck etc etc won their prize.  They all looked the same to me. 😯  I guess, I will leave it to the experts and move on.   We only stayed a day in Salt Spring Island but wished we stayed longer.  Looking forward to coming back and visiting the art studios, wineries and part take in outdoorsy activities. 🙂
